The film 'Asukh' (1999) won the Best film award at the 46th National Film Festival.
He has also received 12 national awards in his career span of 19 years and a few international awards. He died of a massive heart attack this morning.
Several other film personalities have also conveyed their condolences and said that the industry has lost a creative genius.
