Itanagar: Breaking his security cordon, Congress MP Rahul Gandhi mingled with tribals in Arunachal Pradesh and danced with them to the tune of traditional songs.
The tribals had been waiting for several hours to meet Rahul who arrived at Tuting on Saturday on his two-day maiden visit to Arunachal Pradesh.
Chief minister Gegong Apang had escorted him to Tuting from Guwahati.
Rahul later visited Kopu pillage on the bank of Siang river and interacted with villagers and discussed about their problems in the remote village which falls under the assembly
constituency of the Chief Minister, official sources said.
He is scheduled to inaugurate a week-long 'Siang festival' at Tuting in Upper Siang district on Sunday.
