Pune: Pune Marathas kept their hopes of making the final of the Champions Tennis League (CTL) alive with a comfortable 26-20 win over Bangalore Raptors in a South Zone match on Sunday.

Thomas Enqvist made a bright start for Bangalore by beating Pat Cash 6-3 in the legends singles.

Pune then won the second match as Marcos Baghdatis and Agnieszka Radwanska outplayed Feliciano Lopez and Venus Williams 6-3 in the mixed doubles.

Radwanska beat Venus 6-3 in the women's singles and more or less writing was clear on the wall.

Ramkumar Ramanathan and Lopez then saved the visitors blushing by winning the men's doubles 6-5.

Lopez needed to win the men's singles to get a chance to negate the lead but Baghdatis steamrolled the Spaniard 6-2 to wrap up the tie for his side.
