Mumbai: As his film Don hits theatres this week, Shah Rukh Khan is here, there, everywhere creating buzz and adding to the visibility factor.
On Wednesday night, King Khan made it to veteran actor Dilip Kumar's bungalow for the music release of Saira Banu's Bhojpuri film Ab To Ban Ja Sajanwa Hamar. And as expected Shah Rukh hogged all the limelight with his smart one-liners.
Sample this – when asked if he can visualise himself in a Bhojpuri film he said, "I have not been able to visualise myself in Hindi films in the past 16 years so how can I do that in Bhojupri films".
However, he said that he is not averse to the idea.
"If I have the time and the opportunity then why not. A film is a film, so long as I am good enough. I don’t know if I will be good enough in Bhojpuri films but somebody needs to give me a chance," at his wittiest best, Shah Rukh quipped.
Like Don, would he like to see himself in Sholay's remake too?
"I would have like to do Hemaji's role," Shah Rukh said in jest.
And finally some plug-in for Saira's film's music. "I think there is one love song. I’m taking the tape home," he said, searching the film's tape in his pocket and then showing it to everyone.
One can’t say much about the music, but with Yashraj Films distributing this Bhojpuri debut venture of Saira Banu, the film is certain to reach out to the audiences.
