According to the forum, the cadets should be given grace marks for attending NCC training during their academic tenure as is done by many of the State Governments. Sainik School cadets undergo NCC training for seven years, the forum leaders said. Vast areas of vacant land under the schools should be used for cultivation, which would help cut down the mess charges of the cadets.
