Doha: India's Leander Paes and Mahesh Bhupathi moved into the pre-quarterfinals of the men's doubles tennis competition by defeating Tung Hiu Yu and Wayne Luen Wing Wong of Hong Kong 6-0, 6-4 in the round of 32 at the 15th Asian Games on Saturday.
In the women's doubles, Ankita Bhambri and Rushmi Chakraverty also sailed into the pre-quarters defeating Huynh Mai Huynh and Ha Viet Ngo of Vietnam 6-3, 6-3 in their round of 32.
Shortly afterwards, the mixed doubles pair of Leander Paes and Sania Mirza also advanced to the second round of the competition.
