The members of the band appear in the song ‘Aanakkallan’ at the end of the movie wearing T-shirts which carries the famous dialogue ‘Polandine Patty Oraksharam mindaruthu’ from the movie ‘Sandesham’.This kick-started a new trend, prompting garment manufacturers to introduce such T-shirts in the market. It has so far received an overwhelming response from the youngsters. The sensational dialogue by late Jayan in the movie ‘Angadi’, ‘We are not Beggars’ is also another hot favourite. Many also buy plain T-shirts and later get their favourite dialogues printed on them. “We charge `80 for printing dialogues,” he says. Not only filmy dialogues, but songs, proverbs and jokes too are popular on T-shirts. ‘Enikkoru pennundu karimashi kannundu’ (song from ‘Thilakkam’ is usually preferred by romeos), ‘Poochakkaru Manikkettum’ and ‘Oru Notebook Eduthal Oru Facebook Free’ are most commonly seen.
