BANGALORE: Central Administrative Tribunal on Thursday reserved its order on the application incumbent DG&IGP S T Ramesh has filed, challenging the UPSC’s decision not to include his name in the list of candidates shortlisted for the post of the state police chief.The government counsel submitted that the state government had not even opened the envelop sent by the UPSC and therefore it is not aware about the names of the candidates selected by the UPSC. Also, the government counsel said the petition was not substantiated with any proof.
