The wife of Odisha's Additional Chief Secretary has approached a state commission for women, alleging harassment by her husband.
In her complaint to the Odisha Commission of Women, the wife of the bureaucrat has alleged that she had been mentally harassed by her husband.
She further alleged that the senior IAS officer is allegedly having an extra-marital affair with another bureaucrat in Delhi.
"My husband is having an affair with another woman and I am being harassed for this. I feel very unsafe and want justice," she said.
The women commission has assured all help to the wife of the bureaucrat in connection with the case. "We will take all necessary steps required in the case," said Lopamudra Bauxipatra, chairperson, State Commission for Women.
Claiming fears for her life, she had also approached Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik in 2014. When CNN-IBN tried to contact Taradatt he refused to comment
