Noida: Here's some good news for gamers. This suburb of the national capital is set to host first-of-its-kind digital games carnival from April 6.

The three-day event will see international and national gamers competing with each other under one roof.

The India Gaming Carnival (IGC) is being organised by WTF Eventz Pvt Ltd and will house all the latest digital and online games including Need for Speed, Fifa Soccer, Tekken, Dota, Counter Strike, Hello, Pool, Poker, Angry Birds and Call of Duty.

"The motive behind IGC is to expose Indians to the electronic gaming experience," Kushagra, director, WTF Eventz Pvt Ltd, said in a statement.

"This will provide a platform for developers, gamers, dealers and youngsters to share ideas under one roof. We are inviting them to play, feel and win," he added.

The event will take place at Ayatti Resort in Greater Noida. The carnival will also pay tribute to the late Steve Jobs, founder and CEO Apple Inc.

The entry passes cost Rs 500 for a day and Rs 1,000 for three days.
