Noida: Student falls to death at Great India Place mall

Noida: A BTech student fell to his death from the third floor of a mall in Noida, the police said on Tuesday. 24-year-old Shashank, a student of Galgotia College in Greater Noida, had come to the Great India Place (GIP) mall on Monday evening along with his three friends for a party.

While returning from the party, he accidentally fell from the railing, they said. He was rushed to Kailash Hospital where he was declared brought dead.

The body has been sent for post mortem and police is investigating all possible angles including foul play. Police said his family, which is in Patna, has been informed of the death.
