No poll truck for Congress

HASSAN: Nixing speculations of a Congress truck with other political parties in the upcoming Assembly elections, Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee (KPCC) president G Parameshwar said the party will fight it out alone.“There is no question of an alliance with any political party. Congress can secure a thumping majority on its own,” he addressed reporters in Hiresave, Channarayapatna taluk, on Monday.Parameshwar said the Congress will accept leaders who are willing to abide by its principles. He said that poll tickets will be issued to only deserving candidates.
