Buoyed by the success of Telangana March, Telangana Joint Action Committee (TJAC) chief Prof M Kodandaram is now contemplating to an indefinite hunger strike.
However, it is not clear when and where it would happen and how many TJAC leaders would go on fast along with him.
The proposal is likely to be discussed at the TJAC Steering Committee meeting to be held on Wednesday, wherein the roadmap for intensifying the Telangana movement will be decided.
Asked about their likely steps in the direction, the TJAC chief only said it would be disclosed at the right time.
At present, TJAC's focus seems to be on targeting ministers and other political leaders from Telangana for not being united on the issue.
The sentiment has been echoed by several organisations at different fora in the recent times.
In response to the call given by the TJAC chief, TJAC members staged rasta rokos, rallies and protests in every mandal of Telangana region.
However, public response to the same was lukewarm.
Meanwhile, the government employees from Telangana region, particularly those working in secretariat, have reportedly decided to resort to noncooperation with the ministers from Telangana region.
The employees demanded an immediate lifting of prohibitory orders clamped under section 144 on the Secretariat premises.
Representatives of the Secretariat Telangana Joint Action Committee (TJAC) called on chief secretary Minnie Mathew and put forth their demand.
Later, while speaking to reporters, committee chairman Narendra Rao and general secretary G Suresh Kumar alleged that the police are behaving rudely with Telangana employees.
The government should tender an unconditional apology for creating problems for Telangana March, they demanded Earlier, the TJAC employees convened a meeting at the Secretariat and discussed their problems.
