Since they fail in taking any such steps, I have requested the Chief Minister to call for a CBI probe,“ Ganesh said.More than politicising the issue, he is looking into the legal aspects of the issue, the minister said.“The Chief Minister has already given green signal for a Crime Branch inquiry. Hope he will take a positive stand on the demand for a CBI probe too,” Ganesh added. Forest Minister K B Ganesh Kumar on Saturday called for a CBI probe into the pledging of forest lands and the fraudulent acts of estate owners at Nelliaympathy.
