Mulayam to contest from Gunnaur

Budaon (UP) Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister and Samajwadi Party President Mulayam Singh Yadav would contest from Gunnaur Vidhan Sabha seat in the forthcoming Assembly elections in the state.

This was declared by the SP president at a meeting of party workers in Budaon recently, UP Minister of State for Civil Aviation Banwari Singh Yadav said.

The Chief Minister has taken this decision at the request of party workers, Yadav claimed.

Yadav had won the Gunnaur seat by a record margin of over 1.83 lakh votes in the Assembly by polls in 2002.
