Jasmin Bhasin visited a hospital in Mumbai on Monday afternoon amid her corneal damage treatment. Her actor-boyfriend Aly Goni took to his Instagram handle to share a picture in which Jasmin was seen undergoing some tests. Even though Aly did not write anything, the photo has come as a sigh of relief for fans who are otherwise worried for Jasmin.
Jasmin Bhasin suffered corneal damage due to a mishap with her contact lenses, which has severely affected her vision. Opening up about the incident, Jasmin told Bombay Times that it happened while she was in Delhi. The actress was supposed to attend an event on July 17 but when she wore lenses, her eyes started to hurt.
“I wanted to see a doctor, but due to work commitments, I decided to participate in the event first and then visit the doctor. I wore sunglasses during the event and the team helped me with handling things, as I couldn’t see properly after a while. We went to an eye specialist late at night, who diagnosed me with corneal damage and placed bandages on my eyes,” she said.
The actress further shared that she is in a lot of pain at the moment and has been advised to rest by the doctors. “I am in a lot of pain. Doctors have told me I should recover in the next four to five days, but until then, I need to take good care of my eyes. It’s not easy because I can’t see properly and the pain makes it difficult even to sleep,” she added.
Earlier today, Jasmin took to her Instagram handle and shared that the last few days were “extremely difficult” due to her corneal damage. The actress talked about the pain she has been suffering from due to the mishap and thanked Aly Goni for being her support during this difficult time.
“Last few days were extremely difficult, feeling worst with excruciating pain and no vision. Thank you so much @alygoni for not just being with me 24*7 but also for being my eyes, trying to make me smile and forget pain and reciting duas for me every minute,” she wrote.
On the work front, Jasmin Bhasin has worked in several successful television shows like Dil Se Dil Tak, Dil Toh Happy Hai Ji and Naagin 4 among others. Besides Bigg Boss, Jasmin also participated in the action reality show, Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi – Made in India. She also made her debut in the Punjabi film industry in 2022 with the movie Honeymoon, which also starred Gippy Grewal in the lead. She will soon be seen in Ardaas Sarbat De Bhale Di which will hit theatres in September this year.
