Missing school kids traced at Koodal

Four school children from Mannanthala, who had gone missing after their classes on Monday, were traced from the house of the relative of one of the students at Koodal, Pathanamthitta.

According to the police, the students, including two girls, had gone to Kudal after returning from their respective schools. All the four, aged between 10- 14 years, were studying in different schools. The parents of the children had lodged a complaint at Mannanthala police station after their children failed to return home.

The police officials contacted the relatives of the children to find out whether they had gone there. It was found that the children had reached the house of a relative of one of the students. Police took the children from the house in Koodal and produced them before the Child Welfare Board here on Tuesday.

The children were later sent with their parents. The police said that  there was nothing mysterious about their disappearance.
