In the forthcoming film The Great Indian Butterfly, Aamir Bashir continues his relationship with his ex-girlfriend, with whom he had a live-in-relationship, and finds it perfectly normal, though this could affect his present married life with Sandhya.
Sandhya, in the film raves and rants about the incompleteness in their relationship and the pressures of career and stress in their lives. Aamir believes that past relationships are an intrinsic part of one’s life. These and other inherent contradictions, sets the stage for the couple to set out in search for The Great Indian Butterfly.
Sandhya believes that urban stress takes a toll including on the sex lives of the couples, because men being men, prioritise work in their lives and invariably take it to bed with them. Sandhya also hates, when men joke about women ‘PMS-ing when they are irritable. According to her “I pray to god that men too should go through PMS-ing, so that they will understand a woman better”.
