New Delhi: British model and actress Elizabeth Hurley will wear a pink silk sari worth Rs 3,43,441 (app 4,000 pounds) for her traditional Indian-style wedding to businessman Arun Nayar which is set for early March, a newspaper said on Friday.
Hurley, the former lover of Hollywood actor Hugh Grant, had said in August that she would marry Nayar, a Indian businessman, "very soon" and that she was also thinking of having a baby with him.
The 41-year-old Bedazzled star could marry at the Barnsley House hotel near her Gloucestershire home, the daily newspaper said without revealing the source of its information.
"Nayar and Hurley are said to have their hearts set on the Devigarh palace in Rajasthan for their traditional wedding," the newspaper said referring to the desert state known for its opulent palaces.
Hurley's 13-year relationship with Grant ended in 2000 after his well-publicised encounter with a prostitute.
Two years later, she had a son with US film producer Steve Bing. She met Nayar, who is a sort of celebrity himself, shortly after her child was born.
"For the Indian wedding, Hurley has reportedly decided on a stunning 4,000-pound pink silk sari," the daily said, adding that the costume had been created by Indian designer Tarun Tahiliani.
