New Delhi: On the eve of Holi, Railways Minister Lalu Prasad was not just busy with colours, but with a good amount of government bashing as well.
Lalu released Sushasan Gutkha - a 96-page satire on the Nitish Kumar government in Bihar, written by a poet in Magahi, Virendra Vachaspati.
The satire is in the form of verses set to the pattern of Hanuman Chalisa. Vachaspati is also known for penning Lalu Hala, a panegyric on the RJD president.
"Ghosha se sarkar bani hai, ghoshna se sarkar rahegi; paanch saal tak gaad ke khoota, ghoshna se sarkar chalegi (On empty promises the government has been formed. On empty promises it will continue: for five years fastened to a peg, the government will run on empty promises", the book says.
