K'taka: BJP top brass to resolve BSY-DVS spat?
The state leaders plan to demand the party high command to take both of them into the BJP central organisation.

Bangalore: Embarrassed by the ongoing spat between former chief ministers B S Yeddyurappa and D V Sadananda Gowda, the state BJP leaders are planning to approach the party high command seeking their intervention. The state leaders plan to demand the party high command to take both of them into central organisation of the party to avoid confrontation in the state unit.

“It (the spat) is turning uglier by each day. With the Assembly elections just 11 months away, we cannot afford to continue with this. So we have decided to seek central leaders’ intervention,” said a senior leader from state BJP. He also ruled out the possibility of either Yeddyurappa or Gowda becoming the state party president.

“Yeddyurappa cannot get the post as he is still facing charges. On the other hand, Gowda has spoiled his chances by indulging in public spat with Yeddyurappa,” he added.
