J&K: Pakistan continues to violate ceasefire, fires at 3 BSF posts
Pakistani troops fired at three Border Security Force (BSF) posts on Saturday evening along the International Border (IB) in Arina sector.

Poonch: After two nights of peace, Pakistani troops fired at three Border Security Force (BSF) posts on Saturday evening along the International Border (IB) in Arina sector of Jammu region said a BSF spokesman. Fresh firing was reported from Rajouri and Poonch sectors as well.

Pakistan has violated to the ceasefire several times in October. Pakistani troops had earlier resorted to mortar shelling beyond the International Border. Villagers have been advised to stay indoors and the state administration has provided buses to evacuate border villagers to safer places.

Seven Indians have died so far and more than 50 have been injured in the border firing.

In the exchange of fire, 33 pople have been killed in border villages in Pakistan. The casualties include 8 Pakistani Rangers soldiers.
