Bangalore: Team India Vice-Captain Virender Sehwag, medium pacers Ajit Agarkar and Irfan Pathan, batsmen Yuvraj Singh and Mohamamed Kaif have been selected for the first batch of the eight-day 'rolling camp' for the Kuala Lumpur-bound players at the National Cricket Academy (NCA) in Bangalore on Wednesday.
NCA sources said the five players arrived on Tuesday night to take part in the camp.
Coach Greg Chappell and Bio-mechanist Ian Frazer, who also arrived on Tuesday, chalked out the training schedule with trainer Gregory King, who arrived two days ahead of the camp.
The cricketers would perform yoga for an hour on the first day of the camp, besides sessions on cricketing skills, fielding techniques and swimming.
The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) would be inviting around 18 players for the camp, to be held in batches from August 30 to September 6. The camp was being held ahead of the tri-series against West Indies and Australia in Kuala Lumpur.
