New Delhi: Around 130 Indians were rescued on Sunday from the shipwreck of the cruise liner, Costa Concordia, which hit rocks and badly listed near the Italian island of Giglio, late on Friday.

The luxury 114,500-tonne ship was operated by Costa Crociere, a unit of Carnival Corporation and Plc, the world's largest cruise company.

The stricken vessel was one of the group's main assets in the lucrative European cruise market.

Indian External Affair Minister SM Krishna has ordered full rescue and relief operation. So far there is no confirmation of any Indian dead. Indian Ambassador to Italy also to reach accident spot by Monday morning.

At least three people have died in the accident.
