Industrialist cheated of Rs 34.7 Lakh

CHENNAI: The owner of a biochemical company was arrested for allegedly cheating an industrialist of Rs 34.72 lakh.
M Murali of Chitta Reddy Colony in Secunderabad, said he was running Agasthya Agro Ltd., for the last 14 years. He had ordered raw material used in the manufacture of Bupro Fezin, a pesticide, from Rudhrag Bioticks, owned by S P Subramanian and paid Rs 34,72,100 for it. But he failed to dispatch the consignment and evaded queries. A CCB team arrested Subramanian, a native of Palayamkottai, Tirunelveli. He was lodged in the Puzhal prison.
