Improvised Explosive Device found near school in Kashmir

Srinagar: Security forces detected an Improvised Explosive Device (IED) planted near a school in south Kashmir's Kulgam district on Saturday.

Militants had planted the IED by the roadside near a school in Mahipora village of Kulgam district, a police official said.

He said an army patrol detected the IED and alerted the bomb disposal squad of police, which destroyed the explosive without causing any damage.
