IHF lists probables for Champs Challenge
32 hockey probables have been picked for the Champions Challenge Cup, where India head to after the bronze at Azlan Shah.

New Delhi: Thirty-two hockey probables have been picked for the Champions Challenge Cup in Boom, Belgium, where India head off after their bronze medal winning effort at the Sultan Azlan Shah Trophy, the Indian Hockey Federation announced on Thursday.

The Indian Hockey Federation said that the Indian team, that will be pruned down from the probables, will head to the Sports Authority of India Centre for a camp in Bangalore from May 23.

The Champions Challenge Cup kickstarts from June 23, concluding on July 1.

Probables:

Goalkeepers: Adrian D'Souza, Bharat Chetri, Baljit Singh and Gurpreet Singh. Defenders: Dilip Tirkey, William Xalxo, Raghunath, Tussavurjit Singh, Sandeep Singh, Sunil Yadav.

Midfielders: Gurbaj Singh, Vickram Kanth, Bimal Lakra, Sardar Singh, Prabodh Tirkey, Pawal Lakra, Senthil Kumar, Jaswinder Singh, Ajitesh Roy and Viren Rasquinha.

Forwards: Rajpal Singh, Roshan Minz, Bharat Chikkara, Prabhjot Singh, Deepak Thakur, Tushar Khandker, Shivendra Singh, Bruno Lugun, Yudhvir Singh, Sunil Kumar, Damandeep Singh and Gagan Ajit Singh.

Officials: Joaquim Calvalho (head coach), M P Singh (coach), M Ramesh Parmeswaran (Asstt. coach), Srikanth (physio), Ganguly Prasad (trainer) and R K Shetty (manager and co-ordinator).
