TIRUPATI: Congress Rajya Sabha MP Chiranjeevi, who is now all set to resign as Tirupati MLA said that his affection with the people of the temple town is inseparable and added that he will never forget the love and affection of citizens of the constituency.Saying that he preferred to begin every programme or event from the famous pilgrim town, he added that he had floated his political party PRP from the town itself and had contested for the MLA seat from Tirupati itself.Addressing the meeting, where local Congress leaders felicitated Chiranjeevi here on Sunday, he said his selection to Rajya Sabha is a big gift to him and had increased his responsibilities.“Though, I am going to Rajya Sabha I will never leave Tirupati as I can not forget the affection and cooperation of Tirupati constituency and I will do my best for the development of the constituency on all fronts,” he said.On the occasion, he also appealed to the people to vote for the Congress party candidate in the ensuing by-elections for development of Tirupati and wanted them to teach a lesson to corrupt leaders.
