'I Could Hear Ram Lalla Telling Me India's Time Has Come': Modi's First Reax After Entering Ram Temple On 'Pran Pratistha'
The Prime Minister shared that the invitation from the people of the Ram Janmabhoomi trust had moved him and since then he decided to immerse himself in spiritual activity

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday spoke to the media about his feelings during the Pran Pratistha ceremony at the inauguration of Ayodhya’s Ram Mandir.

In an exclusive interview with Thanthi TV weeks before the Lok Sabha polls, the Prime Minister shared his thoughts when he saw Ram Lalla’s idol for the first time.

“When I reached in front of Ram lalla, at first I saw his feet and then his eyes and eventually I got stuck there”, the Prime Minister said.

“In my mind I could hear that Ram Lalla is telling me that India’s time has come and the country is now progressing forward”, PM Modi added.

During the interview, he also spoke about how he got involved in the ceremony. While talking to the interviewers the Prime Minister shared that the invitation from the people of the Ram Janmabhoomi trust had moved him and since then he decided to immerse himself in spiritual activity.

PM Modi further said, “When I reached Ayodhya, at each step I was wondering that am I here only for the Pran Pratistha or am I here as a citizen of India?”

“All through the way I felt that I was going there as an ordinary citizen of India and nowhere did the identity of PM touch me”, he added.

The “Pran Pratishtha” ceremony of Ram Lalla in Ayodhya on January 22, 2024, marked the end of 500 years of exile for the Lord’s devotees in India and across the country.

Crafted by the skilled sculptor Arun Yogiraj from Mysuru, the 51-inch-tall idol, portrays the image of a five-year-old Lord Ram. Prime Minister Narendra Modi actively participated in the ceremonial proceedings at the complex where over 8000 invitees were present.

Several big names including around 3,000 VVIPs, 4,000 saints and seers from different parts of the country, delegates from 50 countries and family members of the ‘Kar Sevaks’ who were part of the Ram temple movement attended the ceremony.
