A student in Hyderabad died after falling under the wheels of a moving TSRTC bus on Friday, June 14. The victim, identified as Mehreen, succumbed to her injuries after the bus ran over her.
As per the CCTV visuals that captured the incident, the student slipped and fell under the wheels of the bus while she was standing on the footboard.
The incident occurred at Yousufguda under the Madhura Nagar Police Station jurisdiction.
Reportedly, Mehreen was an intermediate first-year student at Masters Junior College in Yousufguda, Hyderabad.
In April this year, a 14-year-old SSC student died on the spot after she was run over by an RTC bus in Yousufguda. According to the police, the victim was pillion riding with her brother on a Scooty when three persons riding an Activa hit their Scooty while overtaking it.
Following this, the victim’s brother lost control and fell on the road while she was crushed when she came under the wheels of an RTC bus.
