KOCHI: Honda Siel Cars India, on Monday launched its small car Honda Brio in the Kochi. Launching the car, Honda Siel Cars senior vice president Jnaneswar Sen said that Brio was a perfect package for a new era and embodies the best of Honda’s technologies to deliver fun and agile driving, fuel-efficiency, spaciousness & safety.The Brio’s performance is achieved by a four cylinder 1.2-litre i-VTEC which gives excellent fuel economy of 18.4 km/l, as per test data. Available in 5-speed gear ratios, Brio offers low rpm acceleration and smooth high rpm performance delivering excellent fuel economy and nimble performance that makes it so enjoyable and fun to drive, the company claimed Honda Brio comes with an efficient impressive interior design concept, which leverages its innovative packaging to offer occupants an open and spacious interior. The Brio’s design takes Honda’s “man maximum, machine minimum” concept, said Honda Seil Cars south zone head, Tushar M Wakanker.Other features of Brio include active and passive safety technologies including dual SRS front airbags, Anti-Lock Brake System (ABS) which prevents wheel locking, Electronic Brake Distribution (EBD)Brio, with a starting price of Rs 3.99 lakh in Kerala ,available in six colours - Energetic Blue, Rallye Red, Urban Titanium, Alabaster Silver, Taffeta White and Crystal Black Pearl.
