KOCHI: Two cases have been registered at the Binanipuram Police Station against each other following a scuffle.The parties in the case against each other are the High Court-appointed Advocates Commission and the employees of the Cochin Minerals and Rutiles Limited (CMRL). The High Court Advocates Commission was appointed to look into the pollution in the Periyar.According to the Commission, the employees had attacked them while they had attempted to collect water samples from a pump belonging to the company.A videographer from Manorama News and a few members from the company were admitted to the hospital.Police collected statements at the hospital on Friday. Meanwhile, the company employees denied any attack had taken place and filed the case against the commission.
