Bhavnagar (Guj): Local crime branch officials on Sunday arrested a 16-year-old boy for allegedly raping a minor girl from Lasitpur village in Bhavnagar district, officials said.
"The boy, who has been accused of raping a seven year old girl from Lasitpur village, was arrested from Vallabhipur town of the district when he was getting down from a truck," police officials said.
Around five days ago, a minor girl was raped by the boy, they said adding that after the incident he had fled to Surat.
The boy has been sent to juvenile home, officials said.
