New Delhi: Lee Jeans has announced a campaign that could help you participate in a community conversation and win US $40,000 if your contribution is graded as the best.
Lee, in its Asia chapter of the ‘Make History’ Worldwide campaign endeavours to bring real history and genuine perspectives to the surface.
The campaign is a new line of communication aimed at attracting, engaging and sharing a dialogue with a community.
Participants can watch their real stories be told in their own words. Interested participants are encouraged to log on to www.makehistory-ap.com.
Participants can upload images from paintings, photographs, sketches or songs. One can even script an account in words and send it across.
Sponsors of the campaign say that the call for submissions to ‘Make History’ is a simply invitation to share a point of view or portray a sentiment.
Although the entries span different cultures and the themes are widely diverse, there is a feel to the campaign that gives it a sense of unity, where different stories play off each other and develop into something larger.
The campaign seems to have a thread that the younger generation can identify with. This is your opportunity to freeze the times you live in, be they turbulent or calm, sad or happy.
Lee wants people to script history by taking the first step to log on.
