BANGALORE: Stargaze Entertainment, a film exhibition company operating chain of multiplexes under its brand ‘Glitz Cinemas’ plans to add 28 new screens by end of March 2013 as a part of its expansion plans. The company currently operates 22 screens across 8 locations. With a total investment of 75 crores, stargaze will stand at 50 screens across 17 locations, covering almost 350,000 sq feet of retail mall space and reaching 5 million captive customers. With this plan, it will also become the “Fastest Growing Chain of Multiplexes in emerging India.”Glitz Cinemas are equipped with state of the art sound and projection facilities and offer services-glitz max, glitz lounge and glitz 3D. Speaking on the expansion plans, Sumant Bhargava, MD, Stargaze Entertainment said, “Our expansion plans are inline with our vision to deliver international cinematic experience to smaller cities of India which do not have quality cinema infrastructure. ”With addition of 28 new screens, stargaze will offer a total number of 12,000 seats and creating employment opportunities for more than 1,000 young Indians.
