UP Minister Gayatri Prajapati - who is absconding in a rape case - has approached the Supreme Court seeking protection from the arrest and recall of its earlier order. He cited reason that he is always available to be examined by the state police. The last time Prajapati was seen in public was on February 27. He is accused of raping a woman and molesting her minor daughter in 2014.
