The Kerala High Court on Thursday refused to interfere with the state’s decision to prohibit the ‘freedom parade’ planned by the Popular Front of India (PFI) at various places on August 15. Justice T R Ramachandran Nair passed the order on the petitions filed by PFI Kozhikode district secretary B Noushad and PFI Kollam district secretary Siddik Rawther against the delay in deciding on their pleas.
The state submitted that it has decided to prohibit the ‘freedom parade’.
The court recorded the submission and disposed of the petition.
