BANGALORE: Divya (29), a HR Assistant at Power Grid Corporation of India Limited on Race Course Road, ended her life by hanging self in her room at a PG centre on Railway Parallel Road in Kumara Park West on Tuesday. It is suspected that her parents forcing her to get married might have led her to take the extreme step.The police said Divya, a native of Kerala, had gone house a few days ago and her parents had seen a boy for her. But Divya was not ready to marry the boy shown by her parents and had shared the matter with her roommates when she returned three days ago. On Tuesday, she had not gone for work and in the evening she was found hanging in her room. The body has been shifted to Bowring Hospital mortuary and Sheshadripuram police have registered a case.
