He added that of the land encroached, four acres belonged to a woman, which was sold to Karthi without her cognizance.By fencing the land, which is located close to a tidal-affected waterway, the accused violated the coastal regulation zone rules. He claims that while the revenue records named Nalini as the owner, the corresponding documents in the registrar office are blank. “We have petitioned the district collector, the chief minister and other ministers in this regard as the violations are multi-faceted.
