First Police Library launched in State

KOCHI: To inculcate the reading habit among the policemen, the Kerala Police commissioned its first police library in the state here the other day. The police library was constructed using `10 lakh, allotted under development fund of P Rajeev MP.Inaugurating the library at central police station, M K Sanu said that reading is a neccessary quality that policemen should inculcate during their training period. The policemen should be aware of day-to-day happenings, he said.The programme was presided over by P Rajiv MP. City Police Commissioner M R Ajith Kumar, Hibi Eden MLA was also present in the function.
