Bikaner: In a shocking case in Rajasthan's Bikaner, a minor girl was allegedly gangraped repeatedly by eight teachers of a private school in Nokha over the past one and a half years.
The 13-year-old girl's parents have filed an FIR, alleging that she was asked to stay back in the school on the pretext of extra classes and raped by eight of her teachers, who also made a video of the act.
Her parents also alleged she was threatened with making the videos public if she reported the matter to anyone. She was also forced to take abortion pills after she became pregnant. Purportedly due to overdose of which the girl now has cancer and is terminally ill.
The alleged incident occurred in April 2015 and the FIR was registered on Friday after the girl’s father gave a complaint to the superintendent of police, police said.
“The FIR lodged under Section 376-D (gangrape) of the IPC and relevant sections of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act," Nokha police station SHO Darjaram said.
The girl's parents said in their complaint that the teachers had threatened to kill her if she revealed that she was assaulted.
Earlier, one of the teachers had filed a case against four persons including two cousins of the girl on March 20 for thrashing him.
Both the matters are being investigated, the SHO added.
