ERODE: Former Union Minister EVKS Elangovan wants the ensuing bill on Lok Pal to contain provisions to create Lokayuktas in all states.After casting his vote in a booth near here on Monday, he told Express, “Those who are keen to indulge in corruption in the state could not be expected to create Lokayukta on their own. So, the Lok Pal bill itself should contain such a provision.”On Anna Hazare’s condition that he would campaign for Congress in the assembly election in four states if the Congress accepts Jan Lokpal, he said, “He is speaking in different ways on different occasions. So, his speech cannot be taken seriously.”On attack on SC lawyer and Hazare team member Prashanth Bushan, he said, “Everyone has a right to express their views. In fact, his demand that pe- ople’s views should be sought on J&K status, is not wrong. But, it’s not correct to attack him.” About Advani’s Ratha Yathra, he said since its inception the party has no locus standi to speak on corruption.
