KOCHI: Education Minister Abdu Rabb interacted with students of Ernakulam Government Girls Higher Secondary School soon after their SSLC Malayalam exam concluded at 3.30 pm on Monday. He ran through the Malayalam question paper and asked them whether the questions were based on what was taught and how they fared. Most of them said the papers were easy. When asked about the issue of question papers of regular and private students getting mixed up at a centre, he said he was not aware of it. The minute details for the smooth conduct of examination were ensured days ago, he said. The students were a relieved lot after undergoing tense moments in themorning. “It was easier than the model exam,” said most of the girls. But all of them agreed that time management was an issue. Many girls said they could not delve into the model question bank ‘Orukkam’ brought out by the SCERT, as it arrived rather late. The students were all set to write Malayalam paper-2 on Tuesday.
