Duo arrested for rape

RAMNAD: Two persons were arrested by the Sayalkudi police on Sunday for allegedly raping a woman with the help of her husband.  Police said, Murugan of V V and the victim have two children.  Recently, Murugan and his friends Mariselvam and Selvakumar of Sayalkudi consumed liquor at his house. Later, his friends raped the woman, allegedly at Murugan’s behest. Based on a plaint from the victim, the police arrested Selvakumar and Mariselvam and are hunting for Murugan.
