Kathmandu: Nepal Prime Minister Girija Prasad Koirala has said that Maoists would not be included into the interim Government before they were disarmed.

He urged the United Nations' mission to Nepal to help in the Maoist arms management, media reports said.

The Prime Minister, during the meeting with the high level UN assessment mission led by Staffan de Mistura, said that the rebels would be included in the interim cabinet after the management of the weapons.

The letter sent by Nepal Government to the global body seeking its cooperation in Nepal peace process is the official view of the Government, Kantipur quoted Koirala as saying.

However, Maoists Chief Prachanda wrote to the UN expressing serious reservation over the content of Government's letter to UN.
