Dawood aide Iqbal Mirchi arrested in London: CBI

New Delhi: Iqbal Mirchi, a member of the Dawood Ibrahim gang, and an accused in the 1993 Mumbai blasts, has been arrested in London, CBI said.

CBI sources told CNN-IBN, "We have to see if we can demand Mirchi's extradition once again now because we could not extradite him the last time."

There is a red corner notice against Mirchi in 1993 Bombay serial blasts case.

Government attempted Mirchi's extradition in 1995 but was unsuccessful.
