Following information, police rushed to spot, Hudco police Inspector Sarvanan told Express.One end of the churidar she was wearing was tied to her neck while the other was tied to a tap, the inspector said. Finger print analysts and a sniffer dog were also pressed into service.Aruna worked at the private firm to financially support the family, her parents, both labourers by profession, said. The victim’s dress was torn and there were nail marks and other injuries on the body, police sources here said.Police suspect that the BBA student could have been raped in the office. They were also trying to ascertain why Aruna visited the office on Sunday, a holiday. The stock advisory firm was run by Selvakumar of Vellore.However, he rarely visited the Hosur office, which was functioning from a rented house, where many college students were part time workers. Following an inquiry with the owner, police also took with them a list of employees for further investigations.Hudco police have registered a case of unnatural death under Section 174.
