HYDERABAD: Chief minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy has warned that stern action would be initiated against those who create law and order problem and break peace and tranquility in the state capital in the name of agitations.Addressing a group of people who came to his camp office here to thank him for the Rs 1-a-kg rice scheme, here on Saturday, Kiran said “If anyone tries to vitiate the people and culture of Hyderabad in the name of bandhs and agitations, the government will deal very firmly with such people.”The strikers have pushed the state into darkness by stopping coal production that is critical for power generation. “The state is spending Rs 12 crore per day to buy power, but still we are forced to increase duration of power cuts from 2-4 hrs a day in cities, including Hyderabad,” Kiran noted.
