BANGALORE: Chief Minister D V Sadananda Gowda assured a delegation of Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) leaders that he would protect the property and dignity of the oppressed classes in the society and warned of stern action against those targetting the dalits.In addition to rehabilitating the victims of atrocities, Gowda promised to put an end to the atrocities being committed against dalits.The BSP delegation led by party state president Marasandra Muniyappa, which called on the CM at his office on Wednesday, submitted a memorandum to him.They complained of frequent attacks against dalits in parts of the state, such as Mandya and Chamarajanagar.
