Blood donation camp at Park Town

CHENNAI: A voluntary blood donation camp was organised over the weekend by The Madras Jewellers and Diamond Merchants’ Association at their office building in Park Town, Chennai.  A team from Lions Blood Bank, led by Paramaguru conducted the camp where more than 100 people came forward to donate blood. The committee members and office bearers of the Association donated blood first to encourage others to follow suit. Jayantilal J Challani, President of The Madras Jewellers and Diamond Merchants’ Association, applauded the donors and assured that the association will continue to organise social activities and spread awareness among people to make a habit of donating blood at regular intervals, as it can save many lives.
